 HORSESHOE |
 |
| A
tough start to the back nine, with stroke
index1. Water left, right and centre a straight
tee shot a must. Your second shot over centre
lake should leave you with a third to the
green this green is surrounded by no less
than six bunkers, a par on this hole and you
have played it very well!! |
| |
|
|
GORSE BANK |
 |
| The
second dogleg on the course O.O.B. from the
tee to just short of the green you need a
long straight shot from the tee the fairway
rising to a crest 250yds from the tee nearer
the crest you are the better idea you have
where to place your second, missing the pond
on the left. Past the oak trees 140yds from
the green an open green the only trouble is
a right hand greenside bunker. |
| |
|
|
CORMORANTS REST |
 |
| From
the tee you must avoid the large lake and
strategically placed bunkers 125&137yds
one in front of the other clear these and
only a pond to negotiate in front of the green
that slopes down back to the pond. |
|
|
|
MORGAN'S WALL |
 |
| A
very good looking hole from the tee, you play
back across the lake to an elevated green
that has a large sandstone wall in front.
Clear both then your onto the green, but watch
out for the ridge that makes your par more
difficult. |
| |
|
|
VALLEY |
 |
| The
third longest hole on the course your tee
shot must be straight as bunkers left and
right your second must miss the ponds on the
left and the grassed ditches on the right
pass these and you will have to clear the
greenside bunkers there are five. |
| |
|
|
DEVASIDE |
 |
| Once
again the Shropshire Canal runs left of this
hole to the right long grass to avoid miss
the bunker 220yds from the tee this will leave
a second shot to another elevated green guarded
by a large bunker in front. |
|
|
|
PARKGATE |
 |
| You
must hit the fairway from the tee as you will
be in water or rough .Three large ponds all
the way up the right to the green .Two bunkers
guard the green a great challenging hole. |
| |
|
|
ISLAND |
 |
| The
island green our signature hole a tough shot
from which ever tee you play from this could
be 125yds to 150 yds in length, miss and its
wet feet. |
| |
|
|
HOME RUN |
 |
| At
last the adventure almost over, from the tee
the hole slightly doglegs left O.O.B. to the
left, miss the two bunkers left and right
180 and 200yds from the tee. This will leave
your second to a green guarded by two bunkers
left and right and two bunkers at the back
of the green, so no over hitting your second. |
